Jodi has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years with an extensive background in women’s health helping empower women during the birth process as a labor and delivery nurse and has also had some experience in oncology. She firmly believes that vulnerability is to be met with compassion, respect, and active listening to ensure that her patients have the very best outcomes. She credits her extensive nursing career and healer background with these virtues and skills. She is an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Level III Practitioner. Through this healing art, she not only has been able to help laboring women, but also people who are struggling with a wide range of health conditions such as headaches, insomnia, back pain, cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and may even be used to help in the recovery from injuries and surgery.
Jodi, a medical marijuana patient with her own history of suffering, has incorporated the use of cannabis into a healthy lifestyle with harm reducing ways of consumption. She has been able to come off all of her prescribed pharmaceutical medications which had left her suffering many side effects, some debilitating and causing hospitalizations.
When she is not delivering babies at a local hospital, she is President of Green Network Providers (GNP) out of Rockland, MA. GNP is a Non-Profit Whole Health Consulting Agency, previously known as GNG, that serves as a liaison between patients and professionals in the medical cannabis industry and is committed to providing accurate information and education. Comprising nurses, caregivers, patients, clinicians and healers of all kinds to end the stigma associated with alternative plant medicine and cannabis. They offer customizable strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs as a tool for managing multiple symptoms of chronic illness.
As an active member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association and a GreenNurse Group team member, she helps advocate for people who choose to use cannabis as a complementary or alternative treatment, providing education, insight, guidance, and support in the process.
