About Green Network Providers

Green Network Providers is an army of liaisons within the community. We are problem solvers, information gatherers, strategizers, advocates for patients, activists for families, who donate our time and money to seek options outside of the traditional healthcare system. We cannot cure you, but we can help you manage chronic pain, mental illnesses, or debilitating prognosis. We educate on the endocannabinoid system, homeostasis, and the safe utilization of cannabinoids and other holistic modalities for symptom management and overall health & wellness.

Jodi Chapin RN - President

Jodi has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years with an extensive background in women’s health  helping empower women during the birth process as a labor and delivery nurse and has also had some experience in oncology.  She firmly believes that vulnerability is to be met with compassion, respect, and active listening to ensure that her patients have the very best outcomes. She credits her extensive nursing career and healer background with these virtues and skills.  She is an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Level III Practitioner.  Through this healing art, she not only has been able to help laboring women, but also people who are struggling with a wide range of health conditions such as headaches, insomnia, back pain, cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and may even be used to help in the recovery from injuries and surgery.  

Jodi,  a medical marijuana patient with her own history of suffering​,  has incorporated​ ​the​ ​use​ ​of​ ​cannabis​ ​into​ ​a​ ​healthy​ ​lifestyle​ ​ with​ ​harm​ ​reducing​ ​ways​ ​of consumption.  She has been able to come off all of her prescribed pharmaceutical medications which had left her suffering many side effects, some debilitating and causing hospitalizations. 

When she is not delivering babies at a local hospital, she is President of Green Network Providers (GNP) out of Rockland, MA.  GNP  is a Non-Profit Whole Health Consulting Agency, previously known as GNG,  that serves as a liaison between patients and professionals in the medical cannabis industry and is committed to providing accurate information and education.   Comprising nurses, caregivers, patients, clinicians and healers of all kinds to end the stigma associated with alternative plant medicine and cannabis.  They offer customizable strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs as a tool for managing multiple symptoms of chronic illness. 

As an active member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association and a GreenNurse Group team member, she helps advocate for people who choose to use cannabis as a complementary or alternative treatment, providing education, insight, guidance, and support in the process.

Sandy Bernier - Vice-President, Director of Operations

Sandy Bernier is a long time caregiver, cannabis enthusiasts, & activist who believes in the power of the cannabis plant for fuel, fiber, food, and fabric.  Founder & Owner of Irie Bliss Wellness, located in Weymouth & Rockland, Ma she believes that education and proper resources are needed to end the stigma associated with plant medicine.  She is a dedicated health coach, passionate about creating community, and is proud to keep the non-profit alive to support the mission of healing thru loving touch and plant medicine. Sandy is also the co-founder of Blissed Blends, a product manufacturing company based in CT, and can work with any health care professional to create a product line or custom formulation of their dreams.

Jullie A Battel CNM MPH

J​ulie Battel is a compassionate and seasoned healthcare professional. Focusing on the unique background and needs of each individual, she is dedicated to educating patients about medical cannabis. She is a graduate of Brown University and earned a Masters in Public Health and a degree in Midwifery at Boston University. She was an Americorps volunteer for Project Recovery on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and was instrumental in the creation of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Julie was a Certified Nurse Midwife at Massachusetts General Hospital for 13 years. In addition to serving as a community health organizer for Braintree Healthy People, she has worked in various positions at Planned Parenthood. Most recently, she worked with homeless pregnant and parenting mothers throughout the greater Boston area in the Bridges to Moms program.

Caitlin Bernhard MSN FNP

Caitlin Bernhard is a Cannabis Nurse Practitioner and Holistic Wellness Coach with a background in Family Medicine, Massage and Bodywork, Hatha Yoga, and Herbalism.  She is originally from Western Massachusetts, where she returned after practicing massage and bodywork in Brooklyn while earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing at Pace University in Manhattan. She is the owner/founder of Azalla Wellness, LLC, and a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA). Since late 2017 Caitlin has worked as a Cannabis Nurse Practitioner throughout Massachusetts, providing education, consultation, and certifications for MA Cannabis patients. She has created and presented material at informational events and workshops throughout MA and CT and was a panelist at the 2019 inaugural ACNA conference in New Orleans.

Stan Sykes - The Treasurer

While not working in his capacity as Treasurer and senior board member for GNP, Stan Sykes is working on expanding his private security company known as “Sykes Security”. Stan has been a nationally-recognized professional artist for the past 25 years. His portfolio includes event work in 36 states. Everything from Paint Parties, logo & branding design, digital media, video production, to caricatures. In 2017 he co-founded the nonprofit now known as Green Network Providers and has contributed to numerous award-winning brands, podcasts, and websites. GNP is poised to help medical professionals expand their professional landscape through personal brand awareness and design.

Michele Morris RN, BSN

Michele is a Boston College graduate (GO Eagles!) and has over two decades of bedside nursing experience in specialty areas including surgery, perianesthesia and pain management.  She enjoys breaking down the stigma of cannabis as medicine by sharing research and patient testimonials as well as her own personal story of overcoming chronic pain without the use of pharmaceutical therapy. Michele educates patients on the form and function of the endocannabinoid system as well as safe and effective use of cannabis. Common issues she has helped patients manage include pain, sleep and mood.  

She is passionate about helping others heal with plant based modalities including cannabis and essential oils. With a strong focus on education, Michele enjoys guiding and supporting patients on their wellness journeys by incorporating the mind, body and spirit in the healing process. Michele is an intuitive healer and incorporates yoga, reiki and breathwork into her daily life and encourages those that are willing to do the same.

Michele lives near Cape Cod, MA and is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hunting, hiking and boating with her partner and their bird dogs. With over 15 years experience in animal rescue work, Michele has become known as the “go to girl” for CBD use within the pet population and LOVES working with her canine and feline clients and their owners.   Michele is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association and the Cannabis Nurses Network and the Green Network Providers!

Colleen Marie is a certified Wholebeing Life Coach, Reiki Master, Certified Yoga Teacher, Beauty Consultant, Astrologer and Founder of Conscious Mama Collective. She is passionate about plant medicine to promote overall mental and physical wellness. She serves the community by educating on the health benefits of cannabis and alternative holistic therapies.

Tonya Sanders RN

Nurse, patient, advocate and activist, Tonya educates patients and covers reporting from Ohio. 

Tonya has been a Registered Nurse for over 17 years. She attended Aultman Hospital School of Nursing and Mount Union in Ohio. She has been a registered nurse in multiple departments within the hospital and home health before she got sick in 2008. Tonya lost 8 years of her life to chronic  disease, infections, surgeries, medication and was sent home to go to hospice care in 2016.  Cannabis saved her life and now she is living her best life. Tonya now has a passion with a purpose to show the world that there is a safer, healthier, natural alternative to manage symptoms of chronic illness.

Tonya and her husband DJ have been married for 17 years and have two daughters Zoë and Brooklyn, and a golden retriever Grace!
